Pride in Workmanship 2017
One of the great events on the Rotary Club of Cooroy calendar is the annual 'Pride in Workmanship Award'. Awards are given to people who have demonstrated the highest standards and work ethics in completing their tasks while maintaining a friendly and helpful service to their customers and clients.
On Monday 06 February 2017 Awards were given to three exceptional Cooroy workers. Jordana Cox, nominated by Rotarian Tim Comino, works at the Jamaica Blue in Emerald Street who with her big smile, quick and efficient service of customers is constantly striving for excellence in everything she does. Tonia Trewren aka’ Bossy Boots’ nominated by Rotarian Rob Dayman helps to ensure the smooth operation and great range of goods available at Gelignite Jack’s; and Wendy Schobert nominated by Rotarian Joan Alexander provides customer focused food service at our Cooroy RSL Club that goes the extra mile with a memory for client preferences.
Our aim is to encourage pride in personal performance in the workplace and to help create a positive attitude for the benefit of our community. It enables managers to help employees achieve the goal of job satisfaction, and publicly recognise them for their efforts
