How do we “Do our bit” and what are some of the simple and specific steps we might take to address domestic and family violence locally.
Joining keynote speaker Senior Sergeant Ryan Hanlon will be Chris England from YouTurn, a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing support for vulnerable people and their families for more than 30 years. Chris will tell us about Love Bites a Respectful Relationships Education Program for young people aged 15-17 years.
Love Bites, a program created by the National Association for Prevention of Child abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN) and based on best practice standards for education programs as recommended by the Federal Government funded Australian Domestic and Family Violence Clearing House and other leading academics in the area of violence against women.
